This page is where you will find the growing collection of our favorite recipes. All of these recipes have been either collected from or sent in to us from a variety of performance minded sources. All of these recipes fit into our nutritional philosophy at BTB. Some may be a bit more of a "treat" than others, but all use only whole food sources. If you are adhering to a strict paleolithic style diet, be sure to read all ingredients to make sure the recipe fits into your plan. Most of them should.

Ingredients:
- one large bag of Kale (it comes pre-washed)
- white / yellow onion (two small ones or one very large one)
- fresh garlic (2 to 5 cloves)
- olive oil
Directions:
Chop the onion(s). Either separately in a skillet or in a large wok or large cooking pot, sautee the onions first in the olive oil. (The onions may not cook as evenly in a pot as they do in a good wok or a large, flat skillet.) While the onions are cooking, pick out the garlic cloves and chop into fine pieces. Stir the onions regularly. Throw the garlic in with the onions only after the onions are fairly well done - you'll see them change color (yellow and maybe brown slightly). Let the garlic and onion mixture cook for a few minutes on medium heat. If using a separate skillet for the onions and garlic, empty them into the wok / pot. Pour the bag of kale into the wok / pot and apply medium heat. Pour more olive oil on top of the kale. It may seem difficult to get the whole bag into the pot; if so, pour much of the bag in, let it cook for about a minute and stir up the kale, and then place more kale in the pot. (The pile of kale will begin to shrink in volume as it cooks.) Don't cook the kale too long - about five minutes on medium heat should suffice. Stir frequently and mix the onion and garlic mixture throughout the kale.
It's ready to serve. This should make about 3 to 4 generously sized servings. And it's great left over.
