This page is where you will find the growing collection of our favorite recipes.  All of these recipes have been either collected from or sent in to us from a variety of performance minded sources.  All of these recipes fit into our nutritional philosophy at BTB.  Some may be a bit more of a "treat" than others, but all use only whole food sources.  If you are adhering to a strict paleolithic style diet, be sure to read all ingredients to make sure the recipe fits into your plan. Most of them should.

- 6 ounces cooked (baked or grilled) salmon
- 1-2 Tablespoons of paleo mayo (yes, take some time to make your own!)
- Squeeze of Sriracha, or other chili pepper paste - to taste
- 2-3 teaspoons chopped cilantro
- 1-2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 cucumber (I prefer the english cucumber or cukes from my garden) sliced about 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick

Break up cooked salmon into small chunks. With a fork, mix together with all remaining ingredients except cucumber. I personally serve this on top of cucumber slices. You could also use zucchini or squash. This combo is also REALLY good using cooked shrimp that you chop up, and adding in some cut up avocado at the last minute. I've done variations with chili oil, and some added kick from Togarashi, and it is oh-so-tasty! Makes many appetizer bites. This is also particularly good served on a big bed of lettuce as a salad.
