This page is where you will find the growing collection of our favorite recipes.  All of these recipes have been either collected from or sent in to us from a variety of performance minded sources.  All of these recipes fit into our nutritional philosophy at BTB.  Some may be a bit more of a "treat" than others, but all use only whole food sources.  If you are adhering to a strict paleolithic style diet, be sure to read all ingredients to make sure the recipe fits into your plan. Most of them should.

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken breast (though our note is to always cook more than one at a time!)
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh thyme and oregano, minced (grown from my garden)
  • 1 tablespoon of almond oil
  • 1 chili pepper, chopped fine (chili pepper was grown in my garden)

Directions:

sprinkle the chicken breast liberally with the black pepper, thyme and oregano.  Heat up oil and add chili pepper and chicken in fry pan and sauté until chicken is cooked through. The flavor that was cooked in was outstanding and there was just enough heat to make your mouth water for more. As sides I had roasted cauliflower and sauteed some zucchini, onions, and red peppers.  It was a super yummy meal and the chicken was just as good the next day warmed up.
