Poopy Talk.
Soooooooo. You have totally changed your diet and your gut is saying WTFlip have you done to me? Or, maybe all is well and nothing has changed. For those of you who are a bit more runny than normal might consider taking Super Enzymes by Now Foods. You might consider taking 1-3 each meal. Robb talked about it in his latest Podcast. Take a listen.
If you have the opposite situation, be sure you are eating lots of veg for a majority of your carbs. Increase your water intake...worst case have a prune or 2 :). All GI discomfort should subside shortly.
Have you added in Fish oil? As I have mentioned several times before, I am not a doctor and I don't even play one on TV, but if it was me, I'd take it. There is a Fish Oil calculator on the BTB45 webpage. Check it out.
If you have any questions regarding GI issues, feel free to ask, if you are embarrassed, just post anonymously!
Today's Pic: A very nice meal, not a bar! Awesome!

If putting deodorant on in the morning feels like a deep tissue massage.
@Donna: if you are still feeling exhausted/sore today, this is a perfect day to take a break from your WOD. Take a walk, go get a massage, etc today. Everyone is correct, your body is a little ticked off at you right now, AND yesterday's WOD was extra intense. While eating some carbs & pro right after your WOD is a terrific idea, I'd still like to see you focus on some strawberries, zucchini, etc. rather than the starchier carbs Diff mentioned. If we have to go starchier we will, but we are just a few days into this thing, I'd like to see you stick with the lower glycemic load carbs for now if you can.
The poopy caption and the picture below it is a little, let's say, not good timing? LOL
Never the less, hanging in there on the 45.
I can't believe there are only 3 comments with the title like Poopy Tslk! Ali, sorry I missed you yesterday, yes, as long as you get the total rest, I'll take it. And it can be 7 hours and 58 minutes. I'll take a number close to eight. Great question.
So... poo! It was funny that Mark's Daily Apple had an article today that went into a whole different kind of poo. SHAMPOO! I wondered about personal products when I was going into this challenge. I'm not saying that it changes points or anything like that... but what you put on your body matters too right?
Some of you know that as a curly hair girl I decided last year to stop shampooing. Most people look at me like I am from another planet when I say this... but my hair doesn't seem to mind (it took a couple weeks do get off the dope).
Glad to see the paleo camp addressing this too... One thing not mentioned here is to stay away from silicone (look for -one -xane & -conol endings on ingredients) if you are going poo-less. The only way to get rid of these sealers is to use Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (found in Shampoo...lol). Personally I just use a conditioner to wash my hair... after our workouts I feel like I need to use something (although Baking Soda and water followed by a apple cider rinse makes my hair super shiny!... I just don't want to do that everyday). I stock up on the Suave Naturals conditioners and I use a ton of it (it has no silicone).
I also don't invest in a lot of creams or moisturizers. I use raw organic cocoa butter for body and face moisturizers and have been amazed with the results! Instead of eye creams I use vitamin E oil nightly. I rarely wear makeup... I did recently have my lashes tinted with henna and I just curl them. One of the things I really want to work out is deodorant. I suppose body wash is the only other one :-)
I do still shampoo from time to time... but I cheat on paleo too... I can't help it ;-)
