Welcome to BTB Outside the Box!

We're super excited that you're going to join us for Atlanta’s most exciting outdoor, community-focused monthly workout! We've taken the best of Bootcamp, the best of Crossfit and mixed it together to ensure that the fitness results are unparalleled and the group workout experience is the most motivating and fun that you'd had!

Here are some details for you before we begin:

LOCATION
We meet in the parking lot of the Ponce Gym Location, which is behind the Plaza Theater off Ponce Ave. Here is a Google Map Link.


SCHEDULE
We meet every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning. We hit the trails promptly at 6:00 am so meet us before then! We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early so that we can get everybody checked in and get equipment sorted as needed.

WEATHER
We work out in Wind, Rain, Snow and Sleet...but not during unsafe conditions such as Lightning or Hail. If we cancel class, we will do our best to send you an email by 5:30am. If you do not have email access, please use your best judgment . If there is lightning, we will cancel class!


TOWELS AND WATER
Bring two of each. You may want one towel and water during the workout and will need one water after the workout to re-hydrate. We recommend the second towel to protect your car.

CLOTHING AND SHOES
Your clothes will get dirty. Make sure you have new or newer running, cross training or trail running shoes. Almost ALL injuries that occur during the first week of outdoor fitness are due to poorly fitting or old shoes. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get yourself a new pair. We suggest New Balance Atlanta at Buckhead located at 9600 Peachtree Rd. NBAB will fit you in the proper shoe for your gait & arch. It is well worth the investment! Mention BTB Fitness & New Balance Atlanta at Buckhead will give you 10% off your new shoes!

CAR KEYS
We will hold them for you if you like. We collect them all in a basket, then store them in the gym to keep them sage. Keep in mind this is your choice. We have never had a problem, but again, it's your choice!

SAFETY and SECURITY
DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN YOUR CAR. If you must, please be sure your items are hidden in your trunk. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING VISIBLE IN YOUR CAR EITHER. Thieves still break windows for empty purses! We are not responsible for items in your car. Securing your belongings and car is your responsibility.

DON'T WORRY...AND GET PREPARED TO SUCCEED
We are looking forward to working out with you this month! You can do this! Don't be nervous! Remember that we can scale any workout (up or down) to match your fitness level. You, like hundreds before you of all ages, sizes and fitness levels, will make it through this program. It may feel tough at times, but with the right attitude you will succeed and surpass your goals!
