4/30/2012: Clean and Jerks

Clean and Jerk
15-12-9 rep sets. This workout is not for time, but rather for load. You'll choose a single weight to attempt for the whole workout. You may rest in the rack position, overhead, in the hang- whatever. The barbell cannot go to the ground except for a touch and go with a re-grip if needed. You may rest 3 minutes between each of the sets. If you set the bar down during any of the sets- pick it back up and finish. But, your score for the WOD is a DNF Choose too light- you'll be disappointed with your workout. Choose too heavy and you'll have to post your score as zero.

Congrats!
Several locals did big things this year at the CrossFit Games Southeast Regionals. I always like the teams- so I'll go there first. Our good frients at CrossFit Atlanta took the top spot and the CFNA "CockDiesels" took 6th. Great job y'all. For the Men- Brandon Phillips from CF Kennesaw took 2nd and Irving Hernandez from Paragon took 4th. For the ladies- Hotlanta had a hat trick. Shana Alverson (CFED), Emily Bridgers (CFD) and Leah Polaski (CFA) rounded out the top 5 with #'s 3, 4 & 5. Great athletes, every single one of them.
