Running is one of the most taken for granted skills in the sporting world. There is no magic pill that will make running distances easy. Just like any other skill, running takes practice and there is definitely more efficient ways to run. Getting some good coaching on your running form will definitely help improve your efficiency and that will have a direct effect on your endurance. But, improving your running skills alone will not result in tremendous increases in longer distance efforts such as a 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon and beyond. This takes steady work.
