Shawn!! For getting Melissa to tie the knot with him tomorrow! Congrats, you two! Have fun this weekend!
Oh yeah, and there was a Team Challenge today:
The winner of the 1st event this morning (Partner Push) was the RED team.
The winner of the 3rd event this morning (Garage Sale) was the BLUE team.
And after compiling the time for the 2nd event (nearly 400m Sprint), the team with the fastest combined average time was the RED team with an average time of 1:38. The Blue team had an average time of 1:43. That was a close race with only a 5-second difference on the average times! Note: We only factored in the 9 team members and did not factor in any instructors' times.
So the Overall Winner of today's Team Challenge is the RED TEAM (nice job, Greasers!), taking 2 of the 3 events! Awesome to see everybody push so hard out there today!
This weekend: Check out the Ponce Crossfit Gym on Saturday at 11am if you want a quick, fun workout. Y'all have seen the gym, it's right across the street from the parking lot where we've been meeting. Holler at us if you have questions. Rest up this weekend, but again do at least a little something to stay active. We're going to plan to meet on Monday again at the Ponce Gym parking lot like we've been doing!

*Fun fact: Instructor Tim's time (which was not counted in the total) was the speediest on the Sprint, coming in at 1:08! He's one fast rabbit!

Melissa and Shawn!! I hope you have an absolute blast this weekend while making things official. One of the best gifts in life :) I love my Timmy. Congratulations Team Red on your first victory, wish I could've been there to witness the majesty! Sounds like it was a close fight, though...can't rest on our laurels, I have a feeling Team Blue will be bringing the fire next week!

woohoo! go RED! awesome morning out there with y'all -- saw a lot of great comraderie and teamwork and everybody was fighting hard for the win. i have a feeling that Blue is going to come back and bring the thunder, so be ready! and make sure you keep the momentum going and hit the gym tomorrow morning.
